Mainblades is thrilled to have respected partners on our side that add value to our organization and help us to offer innovative aircraft drone inspections.
Who supports us?
KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines
KLM was one of the first companies that joined our ambition to shake up the aviation maintenance community. We have been working together since 2015, and we look forward to cooperating in the future. The partnership began in 2015 with KLM Engineering & Maintenance conducting a drone inspection on a Boeing 737-800. The test simulated that the Boeing had damage due to lightning strikes. On the ground, program manager E&M Peter Hof and maintenance program engineer Frank Laurenssen had the chance to get first-hand impressions of how easy visual aircraft inspections can be. Since then, KLM has played an essential role in the development of our drone. The sharing of feedback about needs and information regarding inspection processes have given us valuable insights on how to improve our drones’ capabilities.
Corendon
We are thankful for a fruitful partnership with Corendon, who is actively supporting us in using drones as a reality in aviation MRO. In 2020 we presented the aircraft drone inspection to the public during hangar 32 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We were very excited to show how fast, easy, and safe performing aircraft reviews can be. Check out the video!
Jetsupport
JetSupport offers technical services and support solutions for business aviation aircraft. Through our partnership, we were able to perform additional drone test flights in closed airport environments. Since 2020 we work together and perform test flights in JetSupports’ Schiphol-East facilities at the Amsterdam airport, allowing us to further validate our drone software.

Why choose Mainblades?
Any aircraft
Any aircraft
It does not matter whether your fleet consists of smaller jets such as the Embraer 190, narrowbody aircraft such as Airbus A320 or widebodies like the Boeing 787. Mainblades is able to inspect any kind of aircraft. No changes to our system are required, making it a flexible solution for mixed fleets. We save your time by scanning the aircraft and assist you to focus on your expertise: analysing defects and make informed decisions on the maintenance tasks to be performed.
Indoor & Outdoor
Indoor & Outdoor
Hangar space is expensive to rent and not always available for aircraft operators. This is especially the case when unscheduled maintenance is required due to lightning strikes or other incidents. After a series of successful indoor tests our team was therefore eager to push our technology further in a way that it does not require a closed hangar environment. We worked hard to make outdoor inspections possible, allowing aircraft operators to make quick assessments on the spot.
Zero preparations
Zero preparations
Whether it houses a full-service FBO, aircraft service and repairs, prop shop, or repair facility, a commercial aircraft hangar is a busy place. Performing a drone inspection in this dynamic environment therefore may seem like a challenge. However, the precision of our navigation software paired with a variety of safety features guarantees a completely safe operation that requires zero preparation. Maintain peace of mind while full maintenance ops continue normally.
